Job Overview
Job purpose
To support the Council’s ICT Finance team. To assist with the management of contracts and payments for ICT systems and services working with service providers, other suppliers and the Council Finance department. To assist with the creation and maintenance of financial processes to provide a secure audit trail in line with the Council’s statutory and procurement requirements. To support the management of the overall provision of a high quality, efficient and effective service that delivers the desired customer service experience and improves customer satisfaction.
Provide general administration support with tasks undertaken by the ICT Finance & Service Management Team such as ICT Supplier Contract Management and Licence Compliance Management including statistical analysis information, production of reports to corporate standards and templates. Scheduling, including prioritising workloads, to ensure resources are in place to meet requirements. Maintain an awareness of current technologies. Management of information required for the service to support service specific processes, including the ability to work with customers, supplier and staff to contribute to improve services. Financial transactions including purchasing goods and services, paying for goods and services, raising invoices and internal transactions. Ensuring relevant documentation is properly created and maintained in line with Council and industry standards and industry good practice. Creating, managing and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); Providing support and advice to the ICT Service teams and other Council Services and Partners. Providing excellent Customer Service Management. Assist the team Manager in the monitoring of all aspects of service quality and performance management. Help manage and respond to team correspondence. Oversee the timely progression of support tickets. Attention to detail. Ability to maintain accurate records and data input into systems. Ability to research administrative solutions to problems. Understand customer needs and business drivers to develop our processes.
