What You’ll Do:

This is a shift-based position, working any 5 in 7 days and specifically supporting the Night shift which are 22:00-06:00 dependant on volumes.

• Whilst on shift you will be responsible for inbound and outbound operations including throughputs, parcel presentation, productivity levels and achievement of forecasted CPU against budgeted targets.
• Analysing data and creating reports on required aspects of the business.
• Supporting with the management of the Inbound and Outbound Gatehouse’s including any relevant queries from Shunters and Gatehouse Co-ordinators.
• Ensuring that all required reporting documentation is maintained and delivered to the required standard and timescales including hourly reports to the business.
• Ensuring investigations are undertaken and concluded for missed parcels.
• Ensuring the correct chutes are active on the sorter system and taking appropriate action should they not be.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

• Pc Literate
• Logistics distribution
• Excel intermediate level
• Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment
