The Role
As the HR Data & GDPR Specialist for DHL Air (UK) Ltd, you will be the initial point of contact for GDPR and Information Security issues as well as playing a crucial role in collecting, analysing and reporting on HR processes and data driving performance within the department. The Role
As the HR Data & GDPR Specialist for DHL Air (UK) Ltd, you will be the initial point of contact for GDPR and Information Security issues as well as playing a crucial role in collecting, analysing and reporting on HR processes and data driving performance within the department. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Ensuring that Data Protection and Information Security processes and procedures are adhered to across the business
- HR data maintenance, carrying out data consistency checks and production of metrics e.g. overtime, absence, turnover
- Coordinating the business functions to deliver compliance with data protection laws and policies of the Group, via regular audits as part of a coordinated assurance program
- Review and propose improved processes for overall HR KPI reporting, including designing and creation of dashboards
- Support the HR function and business in the overall HR reporting and develop advanced workforce analytics and insights for the business
- Maintaining the data breach log; setting out remedial measures taken and documenting the breach response process
- Monitoring and updating processes and procedures for GDPR as well as reviewing data processing activities in line with the DHL privacy policy
- Managing Subject Access Requests, timelines and responses in conjunction with legal guidelines
- Identifying and completing Controller-Processor Agreements for both new and existing suppliers/third parties to ensure data export compliance
- Managing & reporting risks where identified and proactively monitoring business activities involving personal data
- Proven ability to establish and maintain a high degree of confidentiality, respect, trust and credibility at all levels
- Ability to make good judgments regarding data privacy risks and to prioritise resources and activity around managing those risks
- Enthusiastic and positive, someone who remains calm, controlled and resilient
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks and projects
- Able to conduct the role independently and with integrity and commitment
- Good personal communication skills capable of dealing with wide range of stakeholders, including senior management
- Strong awareness of GDPR risks and responsibilities
- Experience with HRIS and data management systems.
- 1+ years data analytics experience
- Formal Data Protection Qualification/Degree (desirable)
