Horticulture Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Horticulture Supervisor, to take the lead on one of Just Ask's highest-profile Social Housing clients around London.

You will manage a team of Grounds Operatives around the NW London and Northern Home Counties area(s) - ensuring all Horticulture services are delivered to a high standard (which includes Planting, Weeding, Grass Cutting, Leaf Collection, Weeding, Pruning, Hedge Trimming, among others).

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise a number of Grounds Operatives to achieve the highest level of maintenance service to the client
• Work closely with the Contracts Manager
• To effectively carry out site inspections using our in-house system
• Ensure works are delivered to the required standards and in accordance with the set specification
• To represent the business and meet client representatives on sites
  
  
  

What are we looking for?

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Prior experience of leading and motivating teams across multiple sites
• Good working knowledge of Horticulture / Plants
• Certified in Pesticide Spraying (PA1 and PA6A)
• Good working knowledge of petrol-powered tools (e.g. Strimmers, Leaf Blowers, Lawn Mowers, etc)
• Good understanding of Health and Safety
• Able to both manage and be "hands on" (where required) to complete jobs
• Full UK Driving Licence
• ROSPA training would be an advantage
