DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class 1 HGV Tramper Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Tuesday to Saturday 0400-0700 , 48 average week with 2-3 nights out per week in general (night out allowance paid).
- Carrying out Class 1 bulk deliveries across the UK from our customers site in Wellingborough .
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
- You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- For this role we require at least a year of actual Class 1 HGV driving experience and experience of Double Deck trailers would be preferable.
