Job Description
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs – we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment – and we’re looking for people who share those values.
Meet Our Client
A sociable gentleman in his early 70s who lives at home with his wife. He enjoys reading, watching documentaries, tuning in to his favourite radio station, and supporting his beloved football team, Newcastle United.
He loves spending time in nature, particularly birdwatching, and enjoys being out and about in the community.
His care involves full assistance with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, repositioning, stoma management, feeding, and the use of hoisting equipment. Ongoing monitoring is also required for pain, pressure areas, and signs of autonomic dysreflexia.
Two carers are required for all shifts, and experience in spinal injury or complex care is desirable.
Training can be provided locally or online, and staff will not be required to drive, as his wife supports with community outings.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
“This isn't just a job – it’s your opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life.”
