Head of FP&A Data & Analytics: Head of FP&A Data & Analytics: Insert introduction (purpose) Ageas Insurance are look for an experienced Head of FP&A Data & Analytics, to lead the (FP&A) Decision Support team, leveraging data and analytics to drive strategic decision-making, develop the FP&A structure (to support organisational transformation) and optimize expense management.

As an FP&A Data & Analytics, you will oversee the development and implementation of robust financial models, forecasting processes, and performance metrics to ensure accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis.

Main Responsibilities as Head of FP&A Data & Analytics:

  • Oversee the development and execution of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Leverage advanced data analytics to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Support business growth initiatives through financial analysis and scenario planning.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the business in all integration activity, lead the efforts for FP&A in delivering new organisational structure and performance management frameworks.


Skills and experience you need as Head of FP&A Data & Analytics:

  • Exemplary stakeholder management – building and maintaining business partner and influencing across executive insurance stakeholders – CEO, Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial & Distribution.
  • Significant experience in providing business partnering support including performance metrics, distribution approach and business proposal evaluation.
  • Must have the ability to understand, evaluate and interpret various financial data and identify data trends and inconsistencies.
  • IT literate with broad knowledge of MI systems and databases and forecasting, planning and budgeting tools with expert working knowledge of Anaplan, Excel, TM1 and JDE.
  • Qualified accountant with a proven track record in the general insurance sector.
