The role of the Head of Marketing Campaigns is to help deliver the JD brand’s global marketing vision across the UK and European markets. The role is also aimed to work cross functionally ensuring the work we do with our 3PB’s are also utilised to maximum potential. The role will sit at the heart of the function and will be critical to how we move the department forward. The marketing calendar will become central to our day-to-day working, and the project management that sits behind it, is crucial to the success of how we work and our role in the business.

This role is responsible for overseeing our yearly marketing program, campaign planning and annual strategic activities, departmental ways of working, and working cross-functionally with our global and local marketing, merchandising, buying and retail teams to develop processes that directly impact our revenue and footfall driving initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Head of Campaign & Media Planning, you'll be doing the following:

  • Development and ownership of the 12-month marketing calendar ensuring global and local relevance
  • Driving the department to work in a timely manner through a rigour of regular meetings with clear agenda setting, necessary pre-work and ownership in place
  • To act as the connection to the local teams in the market, ensuring they have a voice in key meetings, their needs are considered and that they feed into calendar discussions on a local level
  • Work cross-functionally with both marketing directors to align on strategy through regular meetings and interactions
  • Work directly with the head of third-party brands to ensure all brand-focused activity is utilised to maximum potential, sitting alongside the wider JD brand campaigns.


What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive marketing or project management experience in retail, apparel, sportswear, ad agencies, and relevant lifestyle brands.
  • People management experience
  • Highly numerate with the ability to understand and analyse data and produce actionable insights.
  • Proven project management, process building, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Solid business acumen and good understanding of KPIs setting and budget management, Retail experience is an advantage.
