Where will you be working?

At M Group Energy we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.

We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.

This role will be working in our Distribution and connections team. As one of the largest Independent Connection Providers (ICP’s) in the UK, we support distribution network operations across infrastructure. Our team installs and maintains distribution networks and ensures reliable connections for customers. carrying out electrical planned work, customer connections and network reinforcement.

As a Graduate Project Manager, you’ll get the opportunity to:

  • Work alongside experienced project managers to plan, organise, and deliver projects from start to finish.
  • Help prepare project schedules, track key milestones, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support in managing budgets, resources, and risks.
  • Take part in meetings with clients, contractors, and suppliers, helping to keep everyone informed and aligned.
  • Use project management tools and software to keep records up to date.
  • Spot potential problems early and help find practical solutions.
  • Make sure that health, safety, and environmental standards are always followed on site and in the office.
  • Learn how to balance quality, cost, and time to deliver the best outcomes

You’ll be:

  • Learning how to manage infrastructure projects from concept to completion
  • Developing skills in commercial management, stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation
  • Building confidence in using project management tools and techniques
  • Supported by experienced project managers and mentors to help you grow into a future leader

  • A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related subject (or are due to graduate this year)
  • Great communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • A collaborative approach and a drive to make a difference
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites
