Working in close collaboration with our clients and supply chain, we deliver projects all the way from feasibility through to construction, commissioning, and handover - with a focus on providing great outcomes.
As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will work as part of the Mechanical Team to provide support in the delivery of multi-disciplined projects. You will be based in an operational office or out on site depending on the delivery phase of the project. If working on site, you will be working alongside a commissioning engineer. Alternatively, you could also work in the office on Mechanical design aspects. A supportive team will be behind you, and you’ll be given every opportunity to progress and develop your skills and get involved in the work carried out.

Mott MacDonald Bentley offers fully integrated design and build services to its clients, combining the contracting expertise of JN Bentley and the design specialisms of Mott MacDonald.
This role is employed by Mott MacDonald but will involve working across the joint venture business, both with Mott MacDonald and JN Bentley colleagues.

What You’ll Do
- Liaise with Sub-Contractors & Suppliers
- Approve Drawings and Designs of Suppliers
- Oversee the activity of Sub-Contractors & Suppliers on Site
- Assist with maintaining our world class safety culture of our critical designs, health & safety documentation, O&M manuals, and commissioning plans.
- Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc)
- Valid driving licence
- Confidence, motivation, plus the ability to hand multiple tasks and problem-solve
- Strong organisational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
