What's the role?

Join our Graduate Scheme after studying for your BEng (Hons). You will be based in our Loughborough office and will specialise in electrical engineering.

This is a blended learning opportunity combining and will exposure to the whole business. The role is office-based and focused on Medium to High Voltage Power Transformers. The scheme will start in September 2026 and last 2 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and use engineering design software
  • Review and check technical drawings
  • Attend internal design review meetings
  • Shadow qualified engineers on live projects
  • Join engineers on client site visits and meetings
  • Assist with calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Support general office activities such as document management

What we’re looking for:

  • BEng (Hons) or MEng : Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering
  • GCSEs at a grade 4 or above

Essential Skills:

  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Confidence with numbers and technical measurements
  • Organised and methodical approach
  • Strong time management and reliability
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving
  • Microsoft office

Personal Qualities:

  • Comfortable working across office, site, and university settings
  • Commitment to safety and good practice
  • Curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
