The Roles

As a member of the Pharma Services team at our Charnwood facility in Loughborough, you will oversee a group of formulation scientists, ensuring the team's operations are both efficient and effective. You will also be accountable for delivering projects within established timelines and budgets.

The post holder will have a responsibility to maintain a portfolio of development projects, ensuring adherence to client timelines. As a member of a fast-growing team in a demanding industry, you will have access to many personal and professional development opportunities at Almac.

We are considering applications at both Technical Leader and Group Leader level.

Essential Criteria

· BSc. in a Life Science or Engineering subject.

· A proven track record in developing drug product formulations and processes suitable for phase I, II and III stages of pharmaceutical development.

· Significant hands-on experience in pharmaceutical development, GMP manufacturing and packaging processes.

· Experience in dealing with clients and presenting on technical topics related to scientific experiments

· Experience supporting business development activities.

Desirable Criteria

(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)

· Experience in supervising and mentoring other scientists

· A PhD in a Life Science or Engineering subject
