Graduate Ecology Consultant

Job Introduction

We are looking for an experienced & highly motivated Graduate to join our successful Ecology team as a Graduate Ecology Consultant. We are offering a competitive basic salary depending on skills, location and experience. The position can be based out of either or Leeds or Gateshead office on a hybrid basis

Role Responsibility

• Undertaking extended phase 1 habitat surveys/UK Habitat Classification surveys to accurately describe and map habitats and assess their potential to support notable/protected species.
• Undertaking surveys for legally protected species.
• Embodying the Lucion values of integrity, commitment, empowerment, sustainability, wellbeing and innovation.
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels within the business, with clients, subcontractors and other third parties (regulators, statutory consultees, etc.).
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Any Natural England survey licence (Level 1 or above)
• Commitment to work towards BSBI FISC (Level 3 or above)
