- Working pattern: Monday to Friday (9am - 5:30pm)

Job Introduction

Your expertise will be vital in helping us enhance operational excellence by delivering essential maintenance of the student living area of the University. What You’ll Do
- Responsible for basic repairs, painting, and decoration services while providing excellent customer service .
- Maintaining internal and external areas safely and within skill limits.
- Keep waste collection points clean and promotes recycling of waste.
- Assist site management by ensuring statutory compliance across the estate.
- Comply with Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Procedures, adhering to industry best practices.
- Engaging with subcontractors and maintain clean working conditions to minimize disruption.
- Complete job sheets accurately and attend required training to uphold high service standards and customer satisfaction .
- Experience in multi-site contracts with varied equipment specifications
- Extensive DIY and decorating skills, including basic building maintenance tasks (e.g., door repairs, plaster patching, plumbing)
- Clear communication skills are essential as students are currently occupying the rooms.
- Proactive attitude with flexibility in duties and working hours
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Takes pride in work and demonstrates commitment and reliability
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
- Highly experienced in general maintenance or caretaking background
- Ability to work effectively without supervision
- Experience in customer service and customer relationship management
- IT literate, capable of using systems for data monitoring and management reporting
- Safety-conscious with an understanding of technical risk assessments
- Have a degree of flexibility to travel as and when required
