Business Development Manager - Electronics / Engineering
Cambridge (Hybrid / Remote)
Up to £40,000 + Bonus + Car + Benefits
An established electronics supplier is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth and develop lasting customer relationships across the Cambridge region.
In this role, you'll work closely with design and engineering teams, supporting customers from concept to completion. You'll manage a portfolio of accounts, identify new opportunities, and position the business as the supplier of choice for electronic components and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Grow sales and profitability across your territory by increasing active projects and customer engagement
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits and account management
Manage projects from design concept through to delivery
Provide regular reports and presentations on performance and market trends
Identify and re-engage inactive customers, while developing strategies to win new business
About You
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Electronics, Engineering, or related field)
Minimum 1 year of proven sales experience in a technical, engineering, or OEM environment
Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills
Full UK driving licence required
