GENERAL MANAGER

PARKVILLE - 48 HOURS - 5/7 DAYS

£38-40,000 Depending On Experience

Lisini Pub Co is a highly regarded, established family run business with over 50 years’ experience of absolute excellence in hospitality.

We currently have a vacancy in Angels Hotel, Uddingston for the role of General Manager

What Your Role Will Involve

  • Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of operations, including staffing, inventory and maintenance. Ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective daily operations to achieve optimum manpower levels.
  • Financial Performance: Develop and manage budgets, analyse financial reports and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and control costs. Achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a consistently high level of customer service. Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Ensure, through regular monitoring, that standards of comfort, atmosphere, cleanliness and safety are maintained.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, train and develop a high-performing team. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.
  • Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events. Identify opportunities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, EHO, licensing laws and company policies. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, order supplies and manage vendor relationships. Ensure stock control and minimize waste.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local communities and organizations. Represent the pub at local events and initiatives.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance the venue’s market position and competitiveness. Align operational activities with the company’s overall goals.

As The Ideal General Manager You Must Have

  • A minimum of 2 years similar experience
  • Excellent management and development skills
  • Excellent organisation and people skills
