Where will you be working?

M Group Rail and Aviation

Our Rail team manages a wide range of specialist rail engineering works and projects delivering civils, track, power, electrical solutions and station structures across all rail routes in the UK.

What will you be doing?

  • Collaborate with company’s senior managers and support teams.
  • Oversee the execution of construction activities.
  • Ensure adherence to project plans.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Lead and manage on-site teams, including engineers, supervisors, and labourers.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure project specifications and standards are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high-quality workmanship.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.
  • Willing to contribute to the reactive rota servicing the framework

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in managing civil engineering projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS Accreditation
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Valid PTS / COSS desirable
