Salary: up to £55,000 – DOE
Hours: Week 1 Monday to Friday 07:45 to 16:30 (1615 finish on Friday) Week 2 Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:30. Enjoy every other Friday off work!

What You Will Do
What you will need:
- In conjunction with the allocated Planner, review the 12 weeks (or further) maintenance plan and schedules, reviewing to ensure that the sufficient numbers of supervisors and operatives to conduct the required maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all operatives and supervisors understand the scope of the work that has been allocated to them and the timescales to which they are required to work.
- Ensuring the engineering standards and practices, safety, health, fatigue levels and morale are maintained. Where there is any doubt or concern, they should inform the Maintenance Manager.
- Manage the planning of stores required to deliver maintenance tasks, ensuring they are ordered sufficiently in advance to avoid PPM not being conducted as a result of spares not being available.
- Ensure they are fully aware of facility and site issues / restrictions that will prevent maintenance occurring, re-planning as required to deliver maintenance within the planned timescales.
- Ensure that their planners are scheduling work to maximise productivity (i.e. jobs in same location conducted sequentially), if a breakdown can be completed in the same location).
- Any planned or reactive maintenance that cannot be completed is identified to the planner to be re-scheduled, informing the Maintenance Manager.
- Any issues that have impacted the delivery of maintenance tasks are recorded in the issues logs and discussed daily / weekly with the Maintenance Manager.
- Respond to all reports of Gas escape/leak (CAT A). Liaise with fire brigade/safety shift and AWE Gas dept. Assist with response IE pressure monitoring and supervision of contractors. Recheck after 24 hours. Supervise any Gas sub-contractors IE MTS, SGN

What You Will Do
- Have line manager responsibilities and be accountable for all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance across designated area(Gas).
- Respond to all reports of Gas escape/leak. Liaise with fire brigade/safety shift and Gas dept. Assist with response IE pressure monitoring and supervision of contractors. Recheck after 24 hours.
- Work with the allocated planner to review the 12 week maintenance plan and schedule and reviewing to ensure the correct workforce are available to conduct the required maintenance tasks.
- Ensure the engineering standards and practices, safety, health, fatigue levels and morale are maintained.
- Ensure all operatives and supervisors understand the scope of the work that has been allocated to them and the timescales to which they are required to work.
- Manage the planning of stores required to deliver maintenance tasks, ensuring they are ordered sufficiently in advance to avoid PPM not being conducted as a result of spares not being available.
- Have awareness of site and facilities issues and restrictions that may prevent maintenance occurring and replanning as required.
- Any planned or reactive maintenance that cannot be completed is identified to the planner to be re-scheduled, informing the Maintenance Manager.
- Any issues that have impacted the delivery of maintenance tasks are recorded in the issues logs and discussed daily / weekly with the Maintenance Manager.
What you will need:
- A relevant NVQ Level 3 Qualification or equivalent is essential for this role
- The ability to implement and monitor high standards of excellence in areas of quality, safety and operational performance.
- Good all-round knowledge of Maintenance Supervision.
- Proven experience in a supervisory environment.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Strong H&S knowledge
