Food and Beverage Assistant

IKEA Southampton are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team.

Love food and providing good customer service? As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will be immersed in both. If you thrive in a fast-paced and team-focused environment, this role will allow you to experience our wonderful everyday.

WHAT WE OFFER
• Start date of employment will be 03 and 04 May.
• Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
• We have contracts from 12- to 16- hours a week. The 12-hour contract is a weekend-only contract working full Saturdays and Sundays. The 16-hour contract requires weekend working as well as evening availability (16:00pm - 22:00pm).

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Prior food and customer service experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
• Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
• Due to health and safety regulations, all applicants must be over the age of 18.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• You will take payment at tills, clean and clearing the customer areas.
• You will ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
• You will prepare and serve food in our Bistro, including our famous hot dogs and hot foods.
• You will support your colleagues, lend a hand, and foster a positive work environment, contributing to a happy team.
• You will help to stock up our Swedish Food Market, ensuring it is clean, organised and presentable for our many customers to shop.
