What is great about the role?

This is a varied, fast paced role where you will have the chance to work with a variety of people from different backgrounds and change people’s lives by working with us and our experienced team of Floating Support Workers.

You will have autonomy to structure your week to ensure the very best support is provided for your clients. You will also be working closely with other services and agencies to ensure that the people we support receive support tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing support, advice and guidance on finances, health, welfare benefits, housing options, digital inclusion and tenancy management skills
  • Working with external agencies and signposting the people we support to the appropriate services suited to their needs

Our aim is to ensure we equip the people we support with the knowledge and tools they need to help them manage their home independently. This is a challenging role and you may be faced with complex situations and difficult conversations, behaviours and needs. Therefore, you will need to be organised, well prepared and creative. The ideal candidate will have some experience of providing one to one support to people in a housing support related environment.
