WA is partnering with an established manufacturer based in Fife as they seek to hire a Financial Controller. The Finance Controller will support the delivery efficient operations of the International Finance function. This is a critical role holding key responsibilities for accurate timely financial reporting for the business. This role will operate on a hybrid basis.

About The Role
Required Experience Skills:
- Professional accountancy qualification
- Experience in a similar financial control role
- Excellent communication organisational skills, with attention to detail
- Focused on delivering operational excellence within structured timeframes
- Excellent IT skills, with the ability to manipulate large data sets, produce accurate cohesive reports for management
- Previous experience of statutory accounts corporation tax beneficial
- Previous experience in a customer focussed environment beneficial
- Previous experience of MS Dynamics systems beneficial
- Responsible for coordinating the periodic close for international business units
- Consolidated monthly reporting of results for international, including financial KPIs flash reporting
- Responsible for PL management
- Leading the balance sheet review, ensuring reconciliations are completed in time
- Manage operational finance team, ensuring the delivery of key processes
- Deputise for the Finance Director, administrator responsibilities for key systems
- Support line manager on matters relating to legal entities including reporting, audit statutory accounting
- Supporting the control environment via the development of processes procedures, including the ERP system enhancements
- Mentoring development of the team
