About The Company

WA is partnering with an established manufacturer based in Fife as they seek to hire a Financial Controller. The Finance Controller will support the delivery efficient operations of the International Finance function. This is a critical role holding key responsibilities for accurate timely financial reporting for the business. This role will operate on a hybrid basis.

About The Role

Required Experience Skills:

  • Professional accountancy qualification
  • Experience in a similar financial control role
  • Excellent communication organisational skills, with attention to detail
  • Focused on delivering operational excellence within structured timeframes
  • Excellent IT skills, with the ability to manipulate large data sets, produce accurate cohesive reports for management
  • Previous experience of statutory accounts corporation tax beneficial
  • Previous experience in a customer focussed environment beneficial
  • Previous experience of MS Dynamics systems beneficial

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating the periodic close for international business units
  • Consolidated monthly reporting of results for international, including financial KPIs flash reporting
  • Responsible for PL management
  • Leading the balance sheet review, ensuring reconciliations are completed in time
  • Manage operational finance team, ensuring the delivery of key processes
  • Deputise for the Finance Director, administrator responsibilities for key systems
  • Support line manager on matters relating to legal entities including reporting, audit statutory accounting
  • Supporting the control environment via the development of processes procedures, including the ERP system enhancements
  • Mentoring development of the team
