Financial Accountant - Head Office Finance

Job Overview

Want to take your accounting career to the next level? Join the head office finance team of a NASDAQ-listed multinational and play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely financials for the largest company in the Arm group. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role at the heart of our UK reporting team.

Responsibilities

  • Own accounting and financial reporting for Arm Ireland Ltd and EDA
  • Prepare group-wide calculations including payroll accruals and share-based compensation journals
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis - spotting, investigating, and resolving variances
  • Act as main contact for external audits, ensuring smooth, timely processes
  • Support ad-hoc reporting, including national statistics, surveys, and requests from Tax and Finance Business Partners
  • Anticipate and resolve issues in systems, services, and processes

Required Skills And Experience

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
  • Strong transactional accounting experience with sharp attention to detail
  • Passion for using technology to drive accuracy and efficiency in financial close
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives on collaboration and continuous improvement

“Nice To Have” Skills And Experience

  • IFRS and US GAAP knowledge
  • Experience with SAP S4 Hana
