About the team:

We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Finance Analyst to join our team and support the continuous improvement of our Finance processes, systems, and reporting capabilities. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving the successful delivery of finance-related projects and initiatives through analysing applications, data and processes. You will work closely with various stakeholders across the business and be able to drive your future progression within the accounting profession.

What you will be doing:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the delivery of Finance Project processes, analysis and reporting, systems, and associated initiatives within the Finance environment

This will involve working predominantly within the Finance team as well as a Finance SME representing Finance across the Group on wider Business Change projects, performing financial analysis to aid scope, requirement gathering and decision making.

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Responsible for preparing and performing reconciliations and analysing vast amounts of data.
  • Performance analysis, creating reports, financial models, and periodic dashboards on specific and designated areas.
  • Support and assist in the review and challenge of assumptions, producing MI and analysis when required, and undertake calculations to support assumptions and analysis.
  • Ensure effective data analysis and reviews are carried out to support making the project business case and assist in implementing business change.
  • Document policies, processes, project updates and other ad-hoc documents for the wider audience.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting of projects.
  • Involvement in the upgrade/ implementation of systems including testing of functions / data / processes and their documentation.
  • Facilitate all aspects of testing including documentation and defect resolution.
  • Monitor and review key business events that may impact and change the P&L, making recommendations as necessary.
  • Perform operational and financial corrections to systems.

In return for your commitment:

We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £41,000 - £48,000 and a competitive benefits package including:

Could you be the one?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • 1 - 3 years of previous experience as a financial analyst
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate the analysis laymen's terms is essential
  • Part Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential
