Client Details

My client is an approx £15-20m TO SME manufacturing company based in the Halifax area.

Description

The Finance Director will be responsible for all aspects of finance namely cash forecasting, bank relationships, budgeting, costing, acquisitions, audit management and development.

• Drive financial strategy
• Optimise operational efficiency
• Lead on all financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Produce detailed financial analysis of the business revenue to support the board and senior management with operational and strategic decision making
• Lead a small team of high-performing finance colleagues
• Lead the annual audit and maintain strong relationships with external auditors as well as maintaining a strong working relationship with the company's bank and external legal advisors
  
  

Profile

The Successful Finance Director Will Have The Following Credentials

Must be qualified - ACA, ACCA, CIMA

Must have experience within the manufacturing and production sector

Must have experience within a similar role in a relevant business size <£15/25m with strong track record

Forex/hedge accounting desirable but not essential

Culturally a team player but able to challenge Board/ SLT and push back when required

Hands-on mindset with the ability to lead from the front

Ability to be on-site 5 days with ad hoc flexibility as required
