The Opportunity

As a Facilities & Maintenance Engineer at A-SAFE, you’ll work closely with our facilities and maintenance teams to provide efficient and effective maintenance support to A-SAFE, including ensuring the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with required standards.

In This Role, You Will

  • To undertake general items of repair and maintenance to the fabric of all A-Safe premises, including the minor repair of fixtures, fittings and building fabric.
  • Responsible for all planned preventative maintenance on site.
  • To carry out simple plumbing tasks including fixing leaks, unblocking sinks and drains etc.
  • To deal with general repairs where necessary as instructed by the Maintenance Manager.
  • To deal with minor electrical repairs.
  • Regularly check external areas for any potential danger to staff and visitors to site.
  • To provide out of hours support in emergencies.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Electrical/ Mechanical Qualification Level 3.
  • Full driving licence
  • Good understanding of A/C systems, BMS, Fire/ Intruder systems, AHU, Plumbing skills.
  • Able to regularly handle/carry items.
  • Inspection and testing 2391
  • PAT knowledge
  • IPAF Trained
  • Working at Heigh (WAH)
