As part of the New Business Sales team, you will be a world-class Account Executive, working as part of a team that is a critical part of our next phase of growth. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, focusing on driving growth. As a critical part of our sales team, you will work closely with prospects to understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and negotiate contracts that align with our company objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, excellent communication skills, and a consultative selling approach. You should be self-motivated, target-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Location: Travel Required, including regular visits at our Lincoln based office

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads through close collaboration with BD team and self-generation activities; social selling, research, networking, and outreach.
  • Conduct detailed discovery calls to understand prospects business challenges and goals.
  • Conduct well-informed and consultative meetings with senior level executives to understand their objectives and clearly articulate how our solutions can help.
  • Gain command of our corporate message and present and demonstrate our products/services effectively to prospective clients.
  • Leverage your sales metrics to develop short, medium and long-term sales plans to exceed your targets.
  • Engage in the Opportunity Planning process, leveraging the power of your virtual team and ensuring the highest conversion rates.
  • Adhere to the Forterro Sales Process and adopt our sales best practices which includes MEDDPICC qualification and the creation of sales artefacts.
  • Negotiate contracts that align with our profit targets whilst ensuring maximum value to the customer.
  • Exceptional Salesforce hygiene to track customer activity, pipeline management and forecasting
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Demonstrable track record in new business sales within the high tech/SaaS space.
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline through self-gen activities
  • Consistent and proven delivery of attaining quota targets and expert pipeline management.
  • Well versed in value-based solution selling.
  • Passionate about forecast accuracy, and dedicated follow up skills that allow nothing to fall through the cracks.
  • Well-versed in wholesale, distribution, manufacturing industries is desirable.
  • Great presentation skills along with high confidence in engaging with decision makers & budget holders.
  • Powerful communication and interpersonal skills. Highly articulate via phone, email and in person is a differentiator, along with a positive engaged approach to working collaboratively with internal colleagues and external partners.
  • Inspired by working in a constantly changing and evolving work environment where growth is non-stop.
  • Savvy with Salesforce, PowerPoint, Word and Excel preferable.
