Where will you be working?

At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.

We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.

This role will be within our Fixed networks team, you’ll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a Field Manager to join our Telecoms Division at M Group Ltd. This role is key to the success of our pre-enablement work with VMO2. You will make sure that our operations run smoothly and on time.

The HFC network is a legacy system. It can face issues such as blockages, congestion, and missing connections. These problems need to be found and fixed quickly. Our goal is to keep the process simple, consistent, and reliable. We want to avoid delays and keep costs low.

As a Field Manager, you will manage the performance of our partner teams. You will make sure they have the right people in the right places. You will help them complete tasks the first time, reduce repeat visits, and control costs.

You will lead and support our field teams. You will check that work is done to the right standard and on time. You will monitor progress and solve problems when they arise. You will work closely with partners to make sure resources are used well.

You will also focus on quality and safety. You will make sure that work meets our KPIs and that customers are satisfied. You will report on performance and look for ways to improve.

With solid technical knowledge of telecoms engineering, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects, you'll excel in problem-solving and adhere to health and safety regulations.
