Flood Defence and Coastal Protection Technician - Carmarthenshire County Council

We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time member of staff to a key role within the Flood Defence and Coastal Protection team at Carmarthenshire County Council.

The Technician has an important role in the business unit and has a wide-ranging role which includes responsibility for investigating flood incidents, inspection of flood defence assets and commissioning of minor works.

We are seeking an innovative and adaptable individual with good analytical and decision-making skills. Someone who works well both individually and as part of a team and prides themselves in the quality of their work. This individual need not have a flood related background, it is more important to us to have an individual with the correct culture and behaviours to work with us achieve our goals and ambitions.
