You'll be part of a close-knit team within the Experimental Fluids, where you will work with research scientists to develop and test hypotheses, using the experimental facilities we have for various fluid mechanics problems

Description & Scope
You'll be part of a close-knit team within the Experimental Fluids, where you will work with research scientists to develop and test hypotheses, using the experimental facilities we have for various fluid mechanics problems
Responsibilities
- Planning and carrying out experimental work, ensuring that laboratories activities are kept within Health & Safety standards and guidelines.
- Analysing and interpreting experimental datasets.
- Participating in regular meetings to discuss project progress.
- Experimental testing of concepts related to production fluids for a variety of real-world business systems
- Support scientists on concept development for production fluids flow characterisation, experimental data analysis, hypothesis testing
- Present demos to visitors and internal stakeholders
- Studying a Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Fluid Mechanics or a related discipline
- Oral and written communication skills in English
- Good motivation, autonomy, teamwork, and ingenuity
- Hands on experience in the lab
- Understanding of fluid mechanics concepts
- Passionate interest in Fluid Mechanics
