Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

We’re offering opportunities for Landscape Planners, Landscape Designers and EIA Consultants.

Subject to the position, your areas of knowledge and expertise will include:

  • A degree and / or post graduate diploma in Landscape Architecture;
  • Chartered Member of Landscape Institute (CMLI) or registered on the Pathway 2 Chartership (P2C);
  • Creative and sound design solutions, preliminary/sketch and detailed design including general arrangement drawings, hard & soft construction detailing, schedules and specifications to support planning applications;
  • Proven understanding and experience in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) / Townscape and Visual Impact Assessment (TVIA), feasibility studies and input to promotional vision documents and Green Belt assessments and Landscape Character assessments.
  • Where relevant, managing and delegation of project work to junior members of the team;
  • For Senior grades, demonstrate successful project management and effective organisational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently;
  • An ability to be proactive, strategic and analytical in your approach to support client requirements.

For our EIA roles, your areas of knowledge and expertise will include:

  • Experience of EIA co-ordination and supporting EIA projects across all sectors (residential/commercial/energy).
  • Be able to support with the liaison of clients, LPAs and other statutory bodies.
  • Have a good understanding of a range of technical disciplines, along with good knowledge of the UK planning processes, UK EIA legislation and best practice guidelines.
  • Experience in EIA project management and co-ordination, ideally in relation to large scale residential and renewable energy projects.
  • Experience of TCPA applications and appeals.
  • Experience in NSIP DCO and DNS projects.
