LOCATION: Office base can be Salford, Birmingham, Belfast, Cardiff, Glasgow or London. If based outside of London, will require regular travel to London. This is a hybrid role with office working (2 days a week) and home working for the remainder
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: anticipated range £45,000 to £55,000pa (plus London Weighting £5,319pa if London based), depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the development and delivery of our BBC listening programme, in partnership with the IC&E Head of Planning (including staff engagement survey and tender process, and ‘on-demand’ culture data checks)
- Partner with leaders and HR teams to drive the effective use of data and insights for informing and influencing strategic decision making, foster a culture of openness, effective two- way communication and values led feedback sharing across the BBC
- Support an insights led BBC - through effective and ongoing industry benchmarking. Understand and embed best practice aligned with organisanisational goals and priorities
- Monitor impact and drive sustainable high performance across IC&E and other partner communities by equipping them with relevant, valuable insights in a clear and compelling format. Support consistency and effectiveness by reducing duplication and complexity. And identify ways to improve inefficient processes and practices to create time and space for high quality outputs
- Facilitate creative and innovative ways of working which support strategic focus. Generate ideas and implement solutions for sharing the most relevant data and insights that lead to meaningful action – aligned with organisational priorities, our BBC Values and support making the BBC a great place to work
What we’re looking for:
Essential
- Proven experience in insights led internal communications, employee engagement / experience within a large, complex organisation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate large volumes of data into simple, digestible, useful insights that are relevant to different stakeholders and audiences
- A collaborative and curious mindset with the ability to turn data into creative solutions, build trust at all levels and influence new and improved ways of working
- Data qualification / apprenticeship
- Experience in leading or supporting a large-scale procurement tender process
