We have an exciting opportunity for an Electromechanical Engineer to join us on a 6 month fixed term contract and work on our newest range of products – Proteox. These dilution refrigerators will be instrumental in the development of Quantum Computers and we require an experienced individual to ensure that we have robust processes and operations in place within this complex manufacturing environment.

The opportunity
In this role you will be responsible for delivering manufacturing processes and the appropriate tooling for our newest product range and subcomponents. This will include developing new, as well as reviewing and suggesting improvements to existing processes, ensuring that our world-class manufacturing standards are maintained, and risks are managed. You will be required to solve technical problems, raise non-conformances and work within the Quality Management System for document management and engineering change.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have a recognised engineering qualification, such as an apprenticeship, NVQ or HNC in electronics as well as demonstrable experience working with electromechanical devices. You will ideally be a Six Sigma Yellow belt or have the relevant continuous improvement experience. You will be able to document and control processes and guide our technicians through build and test operations identifying Critical To Quality and Critical To Satisfaction factors. Your experience of developing test processes of electromechanical subassemblies and devices is essential.
