The Asmodee Group has four main activities: Publishing and distribution of board games, Digital and Entertainment.


Job Summary

The Ecommerce/Amazon Data Analytics Specialist Europe is responsible for running the business analytics of our Ecommerce channel, primarily Amazon, with the ultimate objective of helping the organization reach Digital and Operational Excellence. This role requires strong information building skills, teamwork, persistence and initiative.


There is a preference for this role to be based in either the UK in our Bordon, Hampshire office or in France but we are open to applications from other European countries. Please can you share the country you would be working from in your application.


What does this role Involve

  • Build, develop, manage, and maintain actionable dashboards and reporting tools to increase Ecommerce/Amazon Team performance on Sales Results, Inventory Management, Forecasting Accuracy and Operational Execution
  • Use Data Analytic Tools to track operational and online execution performance and provide regular reporting to cross-functional teams and leadership
  • Synthesize data information into concise and readable language and develop metrics and measures to provide analysis that will assist the Ecommerce/Amazon team in their decision process
  • Use data to evaluate best practices to deliver Operational and Digital Excellence and help build plans to implement these best practices
  • Support the Ecommerce/Amazon Team on multiple projects aimed at maximizing all business opportunities
  • Help identify/quantify business gaps and growth opportunities using internal and external data tools
  • Pro-actively collaborate with internal cross functional teams (Sales, Order Management, Supply-Forecast, Operations-Logistics, Accounting-Finance, Digital Marketing) to drive Operational and Digital Excellence and ensure optimized business growth
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and build recommendations to address the problems
  • Manage both mid-to-long-term strategic projects and short-term tactical activities
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Understand and learn how to navigate internal and external third-party tools and systems
  • Keep up to date on Ecommerce/Amazon standards and best practices for all data analytics solutions and tools
  • Support the Global Ecommerce/Amazon Team in Asmodee international markets:
  • Bring methodology/consistency in the way global reports are built across the organization
  • Help drive/implement data analytics tools aimed at optimizing/maximizing global performance


What are we looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Digital Marketing or related field
  • Solid 2-5 years’ experience working in Ecommerce Operations, Data Analytics and/or Digital Marketing
  • Strong data analytics expertise and outstanding excel skills to allow fast data interpretation and translation into powerful actions
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Advantageous:
  • Experience working with Amazon Vendor Central / Seller Central
  • Thorough understanding of Amazon KPI’s and drivers: Marketing and Operation KPI’s
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerBI
  • Experience with process automation and IT Integration (EDI / API)
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully collaborating with other functional areas (Sales, Order Management, Supply-Forecast, Operations-Logistics, Accounting-Finance, Digital Marketing, New Product Development)
