Job Title: EC&I Installation and Commissioning Engineer
Location: Remote with Nationwide travel
Contract: 6-12 months
About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled EC&I Installation and Commissioning Engineer to join our bulk fuels storage and logistics business. You will represent the company in overseeing various installation and commissioning projects across the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the installation and commissioning of advanced systems such as CCTV, Fire and Gas systems, as well as "water draw off" projects.

£525 per day with site uplift
Location: Remote with Nationwide travel
Contract: 6-12 months
About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled EC&I Installation and Commissioning Engineer to join our bulk fuels storage and logistics business. You will represent the company in overseeing various installation and commissioning projects across the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the installation and commissioning of advanced systems such as CCTV, Fire and Gas systems, as well as "water draw off" projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company in a professional manner during all project phases
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of CCTV systems
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of Fire and Gas systems
- Manage the installation and commissioning of "water draw off" projects
- Ensure all projects meet industry standards and client specifications
- Travel to various project sites across the country and effectively manage on-site operations
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and local project teams to ensure smooth operations
- Provide technical support and training to on-site personnel as needed
- Document project progress, issues, and resolutions in detailed reports
- Proven experience in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation engineering, within bulk fuels, refinery or Oil and Gas Environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of CCTV, Fire and Gas systems, and water systems
- Excellent knowledge of the COMAH Regulations
- Previous commissioning experience
- Willingness to travel extensively across the country
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
£525 per day with site uplift
