The opportunity

Are you an experienced leader, passionate about nurturing and encouraging next generation professionals?

You'll be responsible for shaping the next generation of Financial Advisers within our partnership. You'll guide cohorts of trainees as they embark on their journey towards becoming qualified and competent financial advisers. You'll play a key part in delivering a structured training plan, providing pastoral support, upholding regulatory requirements, and driving forward our adviser pipeline strategy - helping us build a future ready partnership.

This is a Swindon based role, however nationwide travel will be required.

What we offer:

  • Salary - up to £40,000
  • Bonus scheme - on target bonus - 7.5%

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing and nurturing next generation advisers through structured development programmes
  • Providing coaching, mentoring and guidance to ensure engagement and collaboration
  • Act as the primary point of contact for performance and well being
  • Align training activities to professional qualifications
  • Partner with Openwork Business School to ensure programme quality and attendance for your cohorts
  • Monitor and record progress towards competency status
  • Coordinate with business functions to assist with the graduates learning the structure of the company
  • Identify future resource gaps and ensure graduates are ready to fill resource gaps across the partnership
  • Provide regular reporting on team and individual progress, exam success rates and competency milestones
  • Recommend improvements to the programme based on feedback

What will you need to succeed?

  • Experience in a early careers leadership role ideally from a Financial Services background
  • Proven ability to coach and motivate early careers professionals
  • Organised and empathetic to support team members through what maybe their first corporate role
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to identify and deliver improvements in our customer journey and service delivery
  • The ability to manage resource / workflow and multiple tasks and priorities to deadlines, delegating as appropriate
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Proven ability to lead, implement and drive change initiatives
  • Ability to consistently achieve standards and deadlines
