DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class 2 driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Multi-drop delivery of food and food related products to pubs across the North West, North Wales and Cumbria
- Heavy manual handling required of rolling cages up to 350kg
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ideally you will have experience working on a rota basis and/or experience working early AM shifts
- Experience of multi drop deliveries is advantageous
