Essential Role Requirements

  • A drainage technician will be responsible for cleaning and surveying newly installed drainage pipes/systems as part of our residential new build housing Projects as well as the daily running and upkeep of provided equipment and van
  • Cleaning drains using hand tools such as brushes, rods, and hoses
  • Inspecting drain systems to locate clogs or leaks, using cameras to pinpoint the problem spots
  • Diagnosing problems with drain systems and identifying solutions to resolve them
  • Cleaning pipes of debris using high pressure water jets or other methods
  • Maintaining records of work performed on sewer systems
  • Must be able to carry out detailed CCTV drainage surveys, accurately assess system conditions, and produce clear, industry-compliant reports.

Desirable

  • High Pressure jet washing experience desired but not essential as full training will be provided

General Expectations

  • Reliable & punctual
  • Able to work well with other trades and operatives on site and support the programme delivery on time.
  • Right to work in the UK

  • Confined Space Entry
  • Jetting NVQ
  • Pipe Sewer Condition Classification
  • Water Jetting Drains & Sewers
  • CSCS Card
