Diverse Talent Partners is looking for a Responsible Individual

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for creating safe, supportive, and inspiring environments for children? We’re looking for a Responsible Individual to oversee our portfolio of Residential children’s homes in Kent, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care and compliance. Tasks

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Responsible Individual, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our homes, ensuring they are places where children can flourish. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversight of Operations: Ensuring all homes operate smoothly, safely, and in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Driving Excellence: Our Responsible Individuals support managers to achieve and maintain ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted ratings.
  • Compliance & Safeguarding: Making sure all practices align with legislation, safeguarding policies, and company standards.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Guiding and supporting managers and staff to deliver the best outcomes for children and young people.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborating with senior management to set goals and continuously improve service delivery.


Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

We’re after a Responsible Individual who has:

  • Experience: A proven track record in leadership roles within children’s residential care.
  • Knowledge: An in-depth understanding of Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
  • Qualifications: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Leadership Skills: The ability to inspire, mentor, and build high-performing teams.
  • Commitment: We are looking for a Responsible Individual who can provide dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel across Kent to support multiple homes.
