Pratap Executive are pleased to be working in partnership with the Lincolnshire YMCA in their search for a strategic, values-driven Finance & Operations Director to join their Senior Leadership Team at a pivotal time in their development, who will work closely with the newly appointed CEO. This is more than just a numbers role, it is an opportunity to help shape the future of a charity with deep local community roots and national relevance.

They are here to support vulnerable people and communities across Lincolnshire, from preventing homelessness to empowering young people and strengthening mental wellbeing. Your leadership will help ensure the financial and operational foundations are as strong as their mission.

In this new role as Finance & Operations Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and day-to-day management of Finance, HR, IT, and Property functions. You will play a vital role in ensuring sustainability, growing commercial capabilities, and embedding operational excellence throughout the organisation. You will:


  • Develop and deliver a robust, commercially aware financial strategy
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams with clarity, compassion, and confidence
  • Maintain compliance and risk oversight across all key operational areas
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and income growth


Ideally you will be a hands-on qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strategic financial leadership experience and exposure to more than just finance who really wants to be involved in all areas of a thriving charity. You will be an inspiring and inclusive leader of people and teams, comfortable working in a values-led organisation. You will be motivated by a desire to use your professional skills to make a genuine difference to the lives of people in Lincolnshire.
