Your Responsibilities
This role is based in our Medical Repair Service (MRS) and the main responsibilities of this role are:

This role is based in our Medical Repair Service (MRS) and the main responsibilities of this role are:
- To receive, register and book in medical and surgical endoscopes and other equipment.
- Carry out manual and automatic cleaning and disinfection of instruments to a high standard.
- Record faults and processes accurately and assist with maintenance and testing in the department.
- Ensure all items are registered and processed within target time, using computer systems to book items in and out.
- Manual cleaning of endoscopes and other medical and surgical equipment.
- Ensure accurate recording of faults, maintain records and written documentation.
- Understand and follow procedures and see that all items are processed correctly.
- Operation of Endoscope Washer Disinfectors.
- Operation of Autoclave Steriliser.
- Operation of LTSF Steriliser.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and 6S.
- Communicate with internal customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Any experience working in a clinical setting such as medical or healthcare would be highly beneficial
- Knowledge of manual handling techniques (desired)
- Knowledge of 6s practices (desired)
- Ability to understand detailed technical instructions/quality standards (essential)
- Knowledge of H & S (desired)
- Previous experience in a quality control role or skills gained through other means which support the application preferred (desired)
