Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons tailored to the curriculum.
- Create an engaging and supportive classroom environment that promotes active student involvement and personal development.
- Regularly evaluate and enhance your teaching methods by participating in continuous professional development.
- Actively participate in School events and meetings to contribute to the wider School community.
- Create and grade assignments, quizzes, and exams to evaluate language proficiency.
- Offer constructive feedback to students to help improve their English skills.
- You must hold a PGCE or QTS qualification in English.
- A deep understanding of English literature, language, and effective teaching methodologies.
- Ability to engage and inspire students through innovative and varied teaching approaches.
- You must have an Enhanced DBS Check (Disclosure and Barring Service) in the UK.
- Provide two professional references from recent positions.
- Proficiency in using technology and digital resources to enhance learning.
