Role Overview
Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Design Co-ordinator to join our Investment Services team.
It’s a really exciting time for us as we have ambitious plans to be at the forefront of housing investment in our sector. To get there, we plan to invest £20-30 million annually over the next 3-5 years into our customers’ homes. We’re creating pipelines and getting fit for the future and you’ll have a pivotal role in this journey.

- Design complex schemes for investment and improvement programmes.
- Prepare detailed drawings, schedules, pricing matrices and specifications.
- Complete planning and building regulation applications and any other statutory requirements.
- Ensure a future-proofed specification is in place that incorporates a whole house approach.
- Practical, hands-on experience designing complex schemes in a commercial setting. You don’t need to have worked in the social housing sector previously.
- Degree or HNC/HND qualified in a relevant technical discipline.
- In tune with the latest building technology and trends. You’ll be knowledgeable about the impact of outside pressures on the trading landscape, such as Brexit and Grenfell, to understand how we appropriately maintain and invest in our homes.
- Confident giving technical advice, with an influential voice in the specification process.
- Awareness and understanding of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and national building specifications.
