Deputy General Manager
TGI Fridays UK
Date: 3 weeks ago
City: Aberdeen
Contract type: Full time

Job Title: Deputy General Manager – TGI Fridays
Location: Aberdeen USQ
Contract: Full-Time | Guaranteed 48-Hour Contract
Step Into the Spotlight: Deputy General Manager
Lead The Show Where Every Shift Is Showtime
The red and white stripes. The buzz of Americana. The energy of clinking cocktail shakers and the roar of a crowd. Since 1965, TGI Fridays has been more than a restaurant — it’s been a stage for unforgettable experiences.
Before flair became famous — we created it.
Before bartenders were performers — we trained them.
Before snacks became legends — we served up the original Loaded Potato Skins.
This isn’t just a job. It’s an act of passion, a rhythm of service, and a full-throttle celebration of food, people, and high-impact hospitality. We don’t just serve — we create moments. Every shift, every plate, every Friday.
Your Role: Director of the Floor
As a Deputy General Manager at Fridays, you’re not behind the scenes — you’re front and centre. You lead with energy, direct the performance of your team, and set the pace for a memorable guest experience. You’re a motivator, a mentor, and a strategist. You bring vision, flair, and confidence — and in return, you gain the foundation to run your own Fridays location in the near future.
Key Scenes in Your Script
We’re proud to celebrate every stripe — whoever you are, wherever you're from, and whatever you bring.
Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do. Through our “Pridays” forum and dedicated programmes, we champion LGBTQ+ rights, gender equality, accessibility, and individual expression. At Fridays, we don’t ask you to fit in — we invite you to belong.
“No one ever made a difference by being like everyone else.” – P.T. Barnum
Ready to Lead the Show?
If you're over school-leaving age and ready to join a team where craft meets celebration, teamwork becomes theatre, and joy takes centre stage — this is your cue.
Apply now and take your place in the Fridays story. Your future is on the menu.
