The Delivery Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital services that meet the complex needs of government clients.
Responsibilities

- Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the successful delivery of digital projects within the public sector, adhering to GDS standards and best practices.
- Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets while ensuring alignment with client objectives and expectations.
- Apply UCD principles throughout the project lifecycle to ensure user needs are at the heart of service design.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors, to drive project success.
- Implement agile methodologies to facilitate efficient and effective project management and delivery.
- Mentor team members, providing guidance, support, and coaching to enhance their skills and career development.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement continuous improvement measures.
- Ensure all projects adhere to IBM's quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience as a Delivery Manager or similar role within the public sector.
- In-depth knowledge and practical application of GDS principles and methodologies.
- Proven expertise in User-Centred Design (UCD) and its integration into digital service development.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and their practical implementation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of public sector regulations and compliance requirements.
