A passionate Data Engineer who has multiple years experience working in building and maintaining data pipelines that help to deliver valuable business insights. You are a real data champion and love working with other departments to show the benefit of data led decision-making.
What you'll do:
This role will report into our Data Engineering Manager and will be responsible for building and maintaining Flagstones critical data infrastructure and ensuring it is reliable, efficient and scalable.

What you'll do:
This role will report into our Data Engineering Manager and will be responsible for building and maintaining Flagstones critical data infrastructure and ensuring it is reliable, efficient and scalable.
- Building and Maintaining Data Infrastructure: - Responsible for creating and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure that ensures reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines: Defining goals, identifying sources, designing processing plans, orchestrating data flow, ensuring data quality, and providing accessible interfaces for business empowerment.
- DataOps and Scalability – Integrate people, processes, and technology to enhance the quality and speed of data delivery
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, ensuring that the data solutions provided align with business objectives.
- Multi-disciplinary Expertise: Knowledge in various areas such as data architecture, cloud technologies, and programming languages relevant to data engineering
- Mindset: Bring a collaborative spirit, curiosity, problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, resilience, and a customer-centric focus to drive success in data engineering
- Databricks experience: Databricks Data Engineer with at least 2 years of experience who is well-versed in applying software engineering principles to data engineering practices
- Continuous Learning: Be committed to staying up to date with industry trends and advances to ensure you can innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency
