Festival of The Girl is looking for someone to join their small but passionate team to help with their admin. Their unique festivals inspire and engage primary school aged girls and their families all over the UK.

Your help and expertise will mean we can reach more girls and families through our festivals, events and campaigns and you will be helping to grow our grassroots movement. Being part of our team means you will be helping the younger generation to understand what stereotypes are and that they always have a choice to inspire more girls to realise how much the world has to offer and give them the confidence to create and follow their dreams to create a more gender equal future by engaging not only with more girls but also their families and carers And that is just the start In the last six years we've seen the incredible impact our work is having on girls and their families, with your help we can aim to reach every girl and family in the UK. What are we looking for?
Experience Strong organisational and planning skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Experience using MS Office, Google Drive, social platforms (Wix - optional) Time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work Aptitude for learning new software and systems Comfort handling confidential information
What will you be doing?
Festival of the Girl (a Community Interest Company) is seeking an administrator to assist with Document creation Creating, managing, and filing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations Record keeping Updating and maintaining records Data entry Entering data into databases and records, and maintaining databases Creating agendas and note taking Important online meeting preparation and joining if available Org and project coordination Creating organisation policies and taking on specific projects Communication Helping with incoming and outgoing correspondence Event administration Helping with event administration in the lead up to our October event We are a small team and we are looking for someone who is passionate about our cause and can support us on their own schedule. They need to be open to help with not only the above but other ad hoc tasks that come in. We operate very flexible working hours.
