Working in our rapidly expanding, innovative and exciting Severn Trent Services business, the Improvement Analyst role will involve analysing and monitoring data to ensure that all work raised for planning and scheduling purposes is completed on time, follows correct process and mitigates operational risks.
The main objective of the role is identify pinch points within process, analyse data and highlight and implement improvements, whilst working to deadline. In addition, there will be a need to provide day to day information using Continuous improvement methodology which will enable other areas of the business to provide support and coaching to the wider team and engage with relevant stakeholders.
Some of the other key accountabilities of this position are:
Our ideal candidate will have experience analysing large amounts of data and will have the ability to distil key facts whilst communicating to stakeholders in a clear and logical way. A Full UK driving license is essential for this position.

- Devising new and improve ways of working developing skills and optimising technology to enhance business performance and customer satisfaction whilst reducing operating costs.
- Developing and owning workstream improvement plans to support our Business objectives
- Reviewing performance against plans and take steps or make recommendations as appropriate to make improvements based on tasks, frequency and resources
- Maintaining accurate records, analyse reports and trends in work including repeat issues, resource utilisation, resource shortfalls, job duration times, travel times, job response times, follow on work, and performance event breaches
- Developing, implementing and improve new work standards and processes as and when required
- Influencing of Regional Service Delivery Teams, to undertake and deliver plans and schedules within prescribed timescales
