Role Overview
The company is seeking a hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive its technological vision and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the technical roadmap, make key architectural decisions, and establish best practices to maintain an advanced technology stack.
- Oversee product development, implementation, and scaling to ensure high quality and performance standards are met.
- Be actively involved in coding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving, particularly in the early stages.
- Lead recruitment efforts for top technical talent, building a strong engineering team as the company grows.
- Make strategic decisions about in-house development versus third-party solutions to optimize resources.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment.
- Proven experience leading technology teams and delivering scalable software solutions in a fast-paced, growth environment.
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related fields is desirable but not required.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in tech-driven start-ups as a bonus.
- Strong coding skills in Python and SQL.
- Expertise in database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL, Redis, and Chromadb, along with experience in cloud platforms like AWS.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, Docker, GitHub, and server management (Ubuntu).
