Role: Content Marketing Assistant (Events & Social Media)
Location: Northampton – Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 days WFH)
Salary: £25,000 basic salary
Reporting to: Head of Content
Are you a creative go-getter with a passion for social media, events, and storytelling? Just graduated or looking to break into the world of marketing? We’ve got the perfect opportunity for you!
We’re on the hunt for a Content Marketing Assistant who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into the exciting world of content creation, event planning, and social media magic. You’ll be joining a buzzing marketing team where ideas flow freely, and no two days are the same.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Social Media Superhero
- Help plan, create, and schedule content across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, and more
- Chat with our online community – reply to comments, messages, and keep the good vibes going
- Spot trends and pitch fresh ideas to keep our socials ahead of the curve
- Work with different teams to gather cool content and keep everything on-brand
Event Extraordinaire
- Be the go-to person for all things events – from webinars to trade shows
- Organise venues, catering, signage, and all the little details that make events shine
- Create buzz with promotional content before, during, and after events
- Coordinate with speakers, suppliers, and attendees to make sure everything runs smoothly
Content Creator in Training
- Support the content team with blogs, newsletters, and website updates
- Keep our brand voice consistent and engaging across all platforms
- Help manage the content calendar and make sure deadlines are met
- Use our CMS to keep website content fresh and fabulous
What We’re Looking For:
- Some experience in marketing or communications (internships/work placements count!)
- A flair for writing and chatting with people – online and in person
- Organised, detail-loving, and able to juggle multiple tasks
- Familiar with social media platforms and maybe even Canva or Adobe tools
- Bonus points if you’ve helped plan events before!
