All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Responsibilities
As a Computing Teacher, you will inspire and engage students in all aspects of digital literacy and computing. Your main duties will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Developing engaging and challenging schemes of work in line with the national curriculum.
- Teaching a range of computing topics, including programming, algorithms, data handling, and computer systems.
- Supporting students in developing strong digital skills and understanding how computing applies to the modern world.
- Monitoring and assessing students' progress, providing constructive feedback, and setting learning targets.
- Encouraging a love for technology and developing students' problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and computing clubs.
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff to ensure high standards across the department.
- Maintaining an inclusive classroom environment where every student is supported in their learning.

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching computing at secondary level.
- Have a strong understanding of the computing curriculum, including GCSE Computing.
